Our History
Dartmoor Christmas Tree Farm is an ethical family-run business based on 70 acres of land in the heart of Dartmoor.

A family farm in the heart of Dartmoor
As a member of the British Christmas Tree Growers Association (BCTGA), we have won no less than 40 national awards for our sustainably sourced trees and wreaths since 2003 – more than any other grower!
Formed in 1990, we have built a reputation for quality and supply many garden centres throughout Devon, Cornwall and Somerset as well as selling direct to you, the customer.
Since being taken over by current owners Stuart and Jennie Kirkup in 2002, we have successfully established a number of our own retail outlets throughout the UK.

In 2016 we made the unprecedented feat of winning all 3 top honours and 4 other best in categories at the BCTGA annual competition:

- Runner Up Champion Grower (Norway Spruce)

We were proud and honoured to supply the Outdoor Tree, Indoor Tree and Front Door Wreath to 10 Downing Street for Christmas that year.

2019
Delighted to have once again been crowned UK Christmas Tree Grower of the Year – and we supplied 10 Downing Street with their tree.
2023
Crowned UK Christmas Tree Grower of the Year for a third time, with an immaculately shaped Norway Spruce taking the top prize for us.
